Atheist Parents in Indonesia

parentsIt is illegal to be an atheist in Indonesia. So, how does someone survive as an atheist parent there? The Indonesian Atheist Parents Facebook group was started in April as a result of the growing atheist movement in Indonesia. There are now over seventy members of the group, who discuss topics related to how they will raise their kids in a country where religion infiltrates everything. Because the better schools are religious, and even in secular schools the children are required to study religion, parents are more focused on what they teach their children at home.

Pray for this growing population, that they will realize Jesus is the answer to the religious society in Indonesia, not atheism. Lift up Christian workers as they will encounter more and more atheists.
