A small church in Central Java has struggled for more than a decade to keep it’s worship facility. They were excited last month when it re-opened, but their excitement was short-lived. On December 1, a rural church began worshipping together again in their building, but just two weeks later, were afraid to meet because of threats of violence from a local Muslim extremist group. They had to have their Christmas celebration at a different church building. Although they have a valid building permit, they were issued an order to temporarily stop having service in that building on December 16 by the county regent.
Pray for this body of believers to have wisdom to know what should be the next step they take.
