Taman Yasmin Indonesian Christian Church in Bogor is being forced to relocate. The church received the required permission to build a church in 2006, but has undergone constant persecution ever since. The Indonesian Constitutional Court told the church in 2011 that they could use their building, but the mayor of Bogor is refusing to comply with this decision. The government has recently rescinded their original decision, saying that the church must move. The church is rejecting this because they say that they have the building permit and the church’s relocation would suggest that the rule of the law in Indonesia has collapsed.
Pray for the church and the government, that they will be able to come to an agreement. Pray for peace and guidance among both parties.
